Experience in Township Government
My first interaction with Township government was as a protestor, asking the Board to protect 17 acres of trees from clear cut. Then-Supervisor Kaplan soon appointed me to the Planning Commission in 2023, as a citizens representative. I discovered an sincere interest in governance. I was elected to the Parks Commission in 2024, and have learned so much watching an excellent Director and her Staff make a department great. When the Board seat opened, I offered to serve the Township at this higher level. I do not promote special interests or have any personal business interest in the Township. After 29 years here, my first concern is for the residents: our safety, our quality of life, our community engagement and mutual respect. I support West Bloomfield as a vibrant, safe, green, friendly and fun hometown for all of our residents. I support our outstanding Township services and department leaders and staff, and will always advocate for updated, streamlined and modernized processes, and fresh new ideas.
Integrity, Accountability and Transparency
Through my work in our community, I have witnessed the significant impact that active participation can have—whether as a volunteer, board member, or elected official. When the Trustee position on the West Bloomfield Township Board became available, I recognized an opportunity to continue my service and drive positive change for our community. My commitment to integrity is unwavering, and my sole focus is on creating a better West Bloomfield that serves all residents.
Fights to Protect Our Environmental Legacy
Our lakes, woods, and parks are our legacy to protect and defend. The flora and fauna of West Bloomfield are integral parts of our ecosystem. As a lakes community, we have unique opportunities to contribute to the health of regional watersheds, from monitoring 26 lakes to responsibly managing storm water and runoff. Our wetlands provide critical habitats for fish, waterfowl, and wildlife; they purify polluted waters and mitigate the destructive power of floods and storms. Woodlands play a vital role in cleaning air and offer habitats for countless creatures. I will fight to preserve the natural legacy of West Bloomfield.

I will continue to promote community engagement to ensure that every resident of West Bloomfield feels safe, respected, and included. I will always listen, be open to learning new ideas, and welcome all opinions as we enhance our community.
Engages in and Promotes Civic Engagement
I will continue to promote our outstanding WB Parks and Rec having proudly served as a Commissioner, celebrate the new community recreation center, and support our award-winning public library. Programs like the Junior Commissioners demonstrate a Township-wide commitment to engagement, as youth enjoy valuable hands-on experience in local governance, environmental-related projects, and community service, preparing the next generation to actively participate in local elections.
Three decades of Business Experience
For 27 years, I managed a family business. My responsibilities included human resources, IT supervisor, facility maintenance, leasing, and payroll. I understand what it takes to run a successful business and effectively manage an organization through teamwork, outstanding customer service, creative problem-solving, financial oversight, and ethical integrity.

As a member of Temple Israel, my gratitude and appreciation for our first responders is unwavering. Their commitment to community engagement through their pledge to protect and serve, alongside their bravery, integrity, and compassion, will always be remembered. I stand in support of our highly trained first responders who are dedicated to ensuring the safety of every resident, every visitor, and every member of our faith-based institutions, especially during local elections and when addressing issues within the West Bloomfield Township board.
Dedicated Citizen who has a Heart for Public Service
I began volunteering as a Brownie leader and a room mom in 1997 when I moved to West Bloomfield. My involvement continued on the WBHS Senior All-Night Party. In 2016, I transitioned into the political sphere, and in 2018, I led the local VNP canvas for nonpartisan redistricting. I was part of Indivisible. In 2023, I was appointed as a Planning Commissioner by then-Supervisor Steve Kaplan, and I was later elected a Parks Commissioner. With my extensive civic experience and a strong commitment to community service, I have a long history fostering community engagement. I support good governance, ensuring that residents are informed of all requirements in a timely, clear and respectful manner manner.
